The Hirsch Winery in the Kamptal region was recently awarded 5 stars by Falstaff. We are delighted that the Hirsch family has bottled the 2021 “Selektion Hochfirst” Grüner Veltliner exclusively for us. This wine is juicy, spicy, and smooth—and was selected by Johannes Hirsch for the Hochfirst.

The Kerschbaum Winery is one of Austria’s pioneers in red wine. Michael Kerschbaum has crafted a cuvée of Blaufränkisch, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon for us with perfection. The 2020 “Selektion Hochfirst” cuvée was aged in wooden barrels for 18 months before bottling and has now reached its perfect drinking maturity. We are proud that our “Hochfirst Selektion” wines are produced by family-owned wineries that rank among the best in Austria.

The German winery Egon Müller-Scharzhof is located on the banks of the Saar River in the Mosel wine region, and its vineyards stretch along the slopes of the Scharzhofberg. The winery’s history dates back to 1797. Since 1991, Egon Müller IV has been managing the estate, which is considered the “Elysium of Riesling.”

Elegant acidity and aromatic sweetness: The Rieslings from the Egon Müller-Scharzhof Winery in Wiltingen, Germany, have long since gained international renown and rank among the very best. Due to the extremely low yields, Müller’s Beerenauslese, Trockenbeerenauslese, and Eisweine are considered rarities.
